Carry on what we are doing - Cairney

4 November 2014

Tom Cairney isn't getting carried away with Rovers' current run of results as he knows there is plenty of work still to be done.

Rovers travel to the Den this evening looking to make it four wins in a row, or at the very least stretch their unbeaten run to six games.

Cairney feels that the team are now getting the results that their performances have merited and starting to get some consistency.

"It is quite rare for a team to win three games in a row in the Championship," Cairney told Radio Rovers. "Especially this season as it is so tight.

"So to do it with the three tough games that we've had, the boys have been fantastic in the last three games.

"But we aren't going to get carried away, we are just going to carry on doing what we are good at and what has got us here in the first place.

"I feel like we've been performing like this all season but the number of chances we are creating is unbelievable and now we are starting to hit the back of the net and it is getting us up the league.

"We are young, we are energetic and we always create chances. We are never really involved in a dull game. It is good entertainment I suppose.

"Millwall away and Brighton away is a lot of travelling involved, we've got to go there and look to turn them over."

Rovers fans who haven't yet purchased tickets for the match against Millwall can do so from the Den this evening.

Tickets will go off sale Ewood Park at 11.30am. After that they'll be available from the North Stand Ticket office.
