Bowyer hopes for break boost

12 November 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer believes the international break has come at the right time for the players and staff.

Rovers have been unbeaten since the last break for Euro 2016 qualifiers back in October, winning three and drawing four of their seven games played.

With no league action this weekend it gives a chance for those with bumps and bruises to recover, and also for the staff to work with the players for an extended period on the training pitches at Brockhall.

"I think the break comes at the right time for us," said the manager. "It gives us a chance to analyse and look at getting back to ways in which we are good for ninety minutes. So that is something for us to work on.

"Hopefully we could also have some bodies returning in Jason Lowe, Tommy Spurr, Chris Brown and Josh King so that is good for us.

"Some of them could be very close, some of them we expect to have back. One or two might be a week or two away but they are all improving so that is great."

Rovers return to action after the international break when Leeds United are the visitors to Ewood Park on Saturday 22nd November.

Tickets are on sale to Rovers supporters with a database history of purchasing tickets for home league games. Prices are from £21 Adults, £13 for Seniors 65+, £13 for Students, and from £8 for Juniors under 17.
