Be brave against the Lions

4 November 2014

Gary Bowyer is relishing the prospect of a match against Millwall at the Den this evening.

The boss takes his Rovers side to the capital with confidence following Saturday's impressive 3-1 home win over Reading - their third victory in a row.

Bowyer is expecting a tough test of his young squad's credentials, knowing that they'll need to be brave against Ian Holloway's side.

"We've got to go there strong, confident in our ability and our belief, and really go and enjoy the night," said the Rovers boss.

"It is important that we try and get on the ball and be brave. I think everybody that goes there has got to be brave, so that is what we are going to concentrate on.

"It is a always tough when you go there, Ian has got them playing a good brand of football.

"He's been a manager for 18 years now so we know it is going to be a difficult challenge but it is one that we are really looking forward to."

Rovers fans who haven't yet purchased tickets for the match against Millwall can do so from the Den this evening.

Tickets will go off sale Ewood Park at 11.30am. After that they'll be available from the North Stand Ticket office.
