Your support has been greatly appreciated

2 May 2014

Boss Gary Bowyer wants to send the Rovers supporters home happy on the final day of the season.

The curtain on another league campaign comes down with Wigan Athletic the visitors to Ewood Park, kick-off 12.15pm.

With still an outside chance of finishing in the top six, Rovers need to beat Wigan Athletic by a healthy goal margin, hope Burnley can do the same at Reading, and also that Nottingham Forest defeat Brighton for Gary Bowyer's side to make the play-offs.

But whatever happens, the Rovers boss has been delighted with the support that he, the staff, and the players have received this season.

"The supporters have always been great with me," said Bowyer. "From the time we were looking after it as a caretaker to this season, they've been phenomenal, both home and away.

"The support that we've received is greatly appreciated and hopefully they can make a hell of a lot of noise on Saturday and we can match that with a performance."

After Saturday's match has ended, the players and staff will return to the pitch to show their appreciation to the fans.

Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale until the 12.15pm kick-off. It is Kids for a Quid on matchday, Adult prices from £19, Seniors from £12.

Why not book online today and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
