Tom Cairney has been named Blackburn Rovers' Player of the Year for the 2013-14 season.
Popular with fans and players alike, the midfielder topped the polls in this year's competition to get the coveted award.
Following on from an eventful first start for Rovers in which he scored but was then sent off in the Capital One Cup defeat at Carlisle United, Cairney has gone from strength to strength.
Initially signed on a six-month loan deal from Hull City, boss Gary Bowyer had no hesitation in making the move a permanent one in January 2014. Cairney putting pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal.
This afternoon's match will be his 40th in Rovers colours with the midfielder having scored five goals.
