Despite scoring six goals in his last six starts, and eleven goals in 2014, striker Rudy Gestede believes he can play much better.
The Benin international has been a huge hit since turning his loan move from Cardiff City into a permanent deal at the turn of the year, impressive goalscoring displays earning the striker the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for April.
However speaking ahead of the final game of the season against Wigan, the 25-year-old feels there is still more to come.
"I've scored more goals than I ever have but I don't think I've been playing my best football, I can improve," said Gestede.
"I'm still happy with what I've done, I'm on 11 goals and 3 assists, not bad for three months."
The striker has also paid tribute to the support he has received from the fans as one of the key factors as he quickly settled at Ewood Park.
'When you feel good off the pitch you can see it on the pitch because the player is going to be free," added Gestede.
"I feel free on the pitch, I know everybody in the team and staff is behind me, they try to push me to do my best.
"The fans like me so I just do my best and score goals."
