King's Norway taste defeat

28 May 2014

Josh King played just over an hour for Norway as they went down 4-0 to World Cup hopefuls France in Paris on Tuesday evening.

The Rovers flier started the match at the Stade de France, but it was the hosts who soon took command, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba opening the scoring on the quarter hour.

Three further goals were added in the second half, Olivier Giroud netting a brace either side of a Loic Remy strike.

Norway are back in action when they face another World Cup bound team Russia in an international friendly in Oslo this coming Saturday.
