Gary Bowyer doesn't want Rovers to be distracted by any end of season drama.
The club end their 2013-14 campaign against Wigan Athletic at Ewood Park tomorrow, still in with an outside chance of reaching the play-off places.
Bowyer's side need to beat Wigan Athletic by a healthy goal margin, whilst hoping Burnley can do the same at Reading and that Nottingham Forest defeat Brighton & Hove Albion.
However the Rovers boss insists they'll only concentrate on what they can control, their task being to beat a tough Wigan Athletic who have already secured a top six spot.
"All we can do is concentrate on our game and try and beat a very good team in Wigan Athletic," said the manager.
"Uwe Rosler has done a fantastic job there to turn it around from where they've come. To still have a chance of promotion is a phenomenal effort from him.
"His mentality will not allow them to ease up one little bit, he'll be on that touchline and he'll be organising them and making sure that they're as competitive as they can be.
"So we are aware of the challenge that lies ahead but as ever we'll just concentrate on us and see what we can perform at."
The Sky Bet Championship has thrown up many shock results this term and the manager predicts there's still time for one more.
"I still believe that in the last minute in one of the games up and down the country there'll be a twist and the pendulum will swing from one club to another," added Bowyer.
"We've just got to make sure that we perform at the levels that we can."
