A difficult decision to make

1 May 2014

Gary Bowyer believes there are plenty of choice candidates for the Blackburn Rovers Player of the Year for 2013-14

Voting has now ended for supporters, with the winner announced just before the 12.15pm kick-off this Saturday against Wigan Athletic.

"I think the pleasing part for is that there are several players that I could name which is refreshing and it shows you that we've managed to bring the right people in," said the manager.

"The obvious candidates are going to be Jordan Rhodes for scoring all the goals and Tom Cairney will get a lot from the female population of Blackburn.

"Player of the Year is a difficult one because the effect Craig Conway and Rudy Gestede have had when they've come in has been phenomenal. Tommy Spurr has been a fans favourite, we are aware of that.

"So I'm delighted that there are going to be lots of choices that is for sure."

Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale until the 12.15pm kick-off. It is Kids for a Quid on matchday, Adult prices from £19, Seniors from £12.

Why not book online today and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
