Take the challenge on

25 March 2014

Rovers boss Gary Bowyer wants more points on their travels when they face Watford this evening.

The Lancashire club take on the Hornets looking to make it three unbeaten after a win over Huddersfield Town and a draw with Leicester City in their last two outings.

On home soil Watford have a fine unbeaten record, having won the last six games played at Vicarage Road, so Bowyer is under no illusions of the task ahead.

"We've spoke to the players and it is about the mentality and the application going into the Watford game that they've got to produce again," said the manager.

"Everybody knows the standard that is required when they pull on the shirt and they've got to demand that of each other.

"Going away from home is always difficult and Watford are in decent form at home. But it is all about us, it is how we approach it and how we go about it.

"The challenge has been put to the players, they've now got to stand up and take that challenge on and go again over the next two games."
