Rovers have boosted their ranks further with the loan signing of Liam Feeney from Millwall.
Hot on the heels of the arrival of Michael Keane from Manchester United, Gary Bowyer has added the midfielder to his squad for the remainder of the season.
The London-born winger started out in non-league football, first with Hayes and then at Salisbury City, before joining League Two Bournemouth at the age of 22 in 2009.
Feeney tasted promotion in his first season and would go on to make over 120 appearances for the Cherries during a two-and-a-half-year spell, scoring 14 goals.
In August 2011, he moved up to the Championship with Millwall, making 83 appearances and scoring three goals.
Feeney returns to the North West, having enjoyed a loan spell with Bolton Wanderers earlier this season.
He had initially joined the Trotters on a three-month loan deal, but due to injuries at his patent club, the 27-year-old was recalled to The Den after just a month, having played four times.
Feeney, who will wear number 22, goes straight into the squad for Sunday's match with Burnley.
