Gary Bowyer hopes the momentum is with Rovers as they enter the final 15 matches the season.
Rovers go into this afternoon's clash with near neighbours Bolton Wanderers unbeaten in their last five outings, but the boss knows that plenty can happen between now and the end of the campaign and isn't getting carried away.
"There is plenty of football left and plenty of points to play for," said Bowyer.
"Obviously there is some momentum, but people will put their slant on it whichever way they want it to read.
"Our aim has always been, and we've said it all along, about addressing the squad and going game by game and we aren't going to change that just because we've won at Reading.
"We've been involved in the game long enough to know that once you start getting carried away with yourself that the game trips you up and trips you up badly, so we won't be doing that."
Tickets for today's match are available from the Reebok, cash only from turnstiles G at the South Stand upper tier. Prices are £33 for Adults, £23 Seniors/Under-23s and £12 for Under-18s.
