Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is hopeful that the injury sustained by Grant Hanley on Wednesday night isn't too serious.
The Rovers skipper limped off in the second half against AFC Bournemouth with a suspected hamstring strain, but the manager is optimistic that it was caught in time.
"To be fair to him he shouted it early doors," said Bowyer. "So we are hoping that it is not as bad as you first think when he limps off with a hamstring.
"That was a blow for us, but we've got people who can step in and cover.
"We are now approaching a stage of the season where after we play Leicester at home we play Saturday, Tuesday for three weeks so we need everybody fit and well.
"They are the cards we have been dealt and we just have to get on with."
Rovers are next in action against Huddersfield Town this Saturday. Tickets are currently on open sale, priced at £25 Adults, £15 Seniors, £10 Under-18s and £5 for Under-8s. Supporters should note that whilst Huddersfield will be selling on the day of the game, there will be no Under-8 sales.
