Gaffer delighted for Dunny

26 March 2014

Gary Bowyer hailed the performance of David Dunn in last night's 3-3 draw with Watford.

The Rovers midfielder rolled back the years with a man-of-the-match display in a thrilling match at Vicarage Road, scoring the first with a sumptuous volley, whilst his jinking run was followed by a pinpoint pass for Craig Conway to score the second.

"It is great to have Dunny on the pitch," said Bowyer after the game. "His goal was magnificent and his footwork for the second to set Craig Conway up was superb.

"He is a threat every time he gets the ball."

Dunn's opening strike was his 50th league goal in Rovers colours, something which also delighted the manager.

"He'll tell you and I'll tell you that he probably should have had more," added Bowyer.

"But I'm delighted that he has got to that landmark and hopefully he can finish off the season with a few more."

Rovers are back in action this Saturday when they face Millwall at The Den. Tickets are currently on open sale priced £26.00 Adults, £17.00 Seniors (aged 60+), £13.00 Under 16s, and £7.00 Under 12s. Book online today on or call the ticket office on 0871 222 1444 for further information.
