Tim Payne and Dean Rittenberg both started for their respective countries but ended on the losing side on Wednesday.
Payne was with the New Zealand first team as they took on Japan in an international friendly, but they lost 4-2 in Tokyo.
Payne earned his ninth cap for the All Whites, and played the full match at the National Olympic Stadium.
Closer to home Dean Rittenberg started for England for the first time as the Under-18s faced Croatia for the second time in three days.
However the match was a repeat of the game on Monday as England took the lead but were pegged back before the break. Croatia then added a second in the second half to claim back to back 2-1 wins.
Rittenberg had one of England's better chances in the first half but was denied by a fine save, the young striker played 59 minutes on his third appearance for the Three Lions.
Hoping to be in action this afternoon is young defender Mark Edgar.
Edgar is with the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad for the second of two friendlies against Switzerland.
The young Rover played no part on Tuesday as the Swiss defeated the Irish 3-0, he will be hoping that he and the team fare better later today in Dungannon.
