Rovers ace Corry Evans is showing his support for Sport Relief and hopes to raise awareness of the campaign back in his homeland.
For the first time in Sport Relief history, there are three main sports that the public are encouraged to get involved in this weekend – running, cycling and swimming. Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, have fun and raise life-changing cash for worthy causes at home and abroad.
Corry said: “Northern Ireland, here is your chance to be part of something massive! Sport Relief is back for 2014 and this time it’s bigger and better than ever. This year we are raising money not only by running a mile, but by swimming too. All you need to do is sign up at sportrelief.com to take part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games at an event near you. By taking part and getting sponsored you could really make a difference to poor and vulnerable people in the UK and across the world.”
