Gary Bowyer was once again full of praise for the performance of Craig Conway in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leicester City.
The Scottish international claimed yet another assist and was unlucky not to score himself as he put in a man-of-the-match performance against the league leaders at Ewood Park.
Speaking to Radio Rovers, the manager said: "I said last week against Huddersfield that he's a great addition to the squad and to the team. He is getting better and better, his delivery is fantastic.
"If I was a striker I wouldn't be coming out of the box once he got the ball, I'd be going straight towards that goal because I know he is going to put the ball to the goal."
Rovers' goal came from a corner routine, something, the manager revealed, that had been worked on in training.
"We've been working on that for a week now and I think you can see the effects of that and we certainly hope that we can get on the end of more," added Bowyer.
"I'm also delighted for Killa he got on the end of it, he attacked it and it was a great header.
"I felt we'd score from a set-play today, and I'm delighted that we could."
