Jordan Rhodes has admitted that his second hat-trick in Blackburn Rovers colours, his 11th of his career, was a special one.
Rhodes grabbed three important goals as Rovers got back to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over his former club Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
That treble took Rovers' record signing to 20 goals for the season.
Speaking to Rovers Player after the match, Rhodes said: "It is nice. It is nice to come to a club that I have very good memories at and I managed to score three goals, but more importantly it was nice to come away with three points as well.
"It is a special one, it will be up there with one of my favourite games.
"I've said always that Sheffield Wednesday scoring four in a 4-4 draw was my favourite, but this will take some running for it.
"We were due a win, and after three successive defeats it wasn't a particularly nice week last week, but we are back to winning ways now and hopefully we can come on from here."
Rhodes and Rovers are back in action this weekend when Leicester City are the visitors to Ewood Park next Saturday. Tickets are on open sale priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors.
