Rovers starlet Georgia Stanway has been called up by England for the Women’s Under-16s Nordic Cup.
The young forward has been included in an 18-player squad, who will travel to Sweden for the eight-team tournament, which takes place between Tuesday July 1st and Thursday July 10th.
England get their campaign underway against Holland on Friday July 4th, before facing Iceland less than 24 hours later. The Young Lions take on hosts Sweden in their final group game on Monday July 7th.
Finland, Denmark, Norway and Germany make up the other group.
Marieanne Spacey’s side will play a final match on Wednesday July 9th depending on where they finish in the standings.
Stanway scored a brace on her last international appearance, as England’s Under-15s defeated Holland 3-0 last month.
