Corry Evans’ Northern Ireland conceded two late goals, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to World Cup hopefuls Chile.
The Rovers midfielder played 89 minutes, as goals from substitutes Eduardo Vargas and Mauricio Pinilla secured the spoils for the South American side.
Vargas headed home the opener on 79 minutes, before Pinilla wrapped up the win three minutes later with a low shot past Roy Carroll.
The friendly in Valparaiso was the last international involving a Rovers player this summer.
Evans played 87 minutes for Northern Ireland in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Uruguay last week on his return to international duty since suffering ankle ligament damage whilst playing for his country in October.
