Rovers play their penultimate pre-season friendly this evening when they take on Bury at the JD Stadium
With the new season just over a week away, boss Gary Bowyer is expected to put out a strong squad against the Shakers.
Speaking ahead of tonight's match, the manager said: "We've been counting down to the start of the season since the first day we've been back in. We are now down to single figures before the kick-off.
"We've got a good game against Bury and then we've got a fantastic game on Sunday against Stoke City at Ewood."
The players have been stepping up their minutes in the matches played so far, with Bowyer expecting many to get a full match under their belts.
"We are now at the business end so we'll be looking at them getting 90 minutes against Bury and again on Sunday.
"Once we get those two games out of the way then that does draw the attention straight on Cardiff."
Supporters who haven't yet purchased tickets for the pre-season friendly can do so on the evening of the game.
Tickets go off sale at Ewood Park at 4.00pm this Wednesday, after that fans can pay cash only at the turnstiles at Bury. Prices are £10 Adults, £5 Concessions.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm. For those unable to attend Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary from 7.30pm.
