Rovers’ players and staff have this morning jetted off for a week-long training camp in Portugal.
Manager Gary Bowyer has taken a 27-man squad out to the Algarve for an intensive week of pre-season preparations.
New signing Alex Baptiste, along with David Dunn and Markus Olsson are in the travelling party, as are Tommy Spurr, Chris Brown, Jason Lowe, Paul Robinson and Corry Evans who weren't involved in Saturday's win at Telford.
"Everyone is going to be going to Portugal and we expect everybody to be training on Monday and Tuesday," said the Rovers boss.
"It is a case of going and having a good week in Portugal and coming back fitter, better organised and ready to go."
Also making the trip to the Algarve is former Rover John Filan. Eagle-eyed supporters at Saturday's game at the New Bucks Head Stadium may have spotted the Australian warming up goalkeepers Simon Eastwood and Jake Kean.
Filan, who spent over four years at Ewood Park, is helping out with goalkeeper coaching duties whilst regular coach John Keeley recovers from a knee injury.
