It has certainly been a whirlwind few hours for new signing Alex Baptiste.
24 hours ago the defender was playing 45 minutes for Bolton in a pre-season friendly against Brondby in Sweden, and now he's a Blackburn Rovers player.
The 28-year-old defender joins the club on a season long loan from Wanderers and can't wait to get started.
"It has been hectic to say the least," said Rovers' latest arrival.
"I played last night for Bolton in a pre-season friendly and the manager took me to one side and told me Blackburn want me.
"So I'm really happy to be here, it is a fresh start and I really looking forward to getting my head down in training and going hard and hopefully getting a push for promotion.
"It is a new challenge now and one I am very much looking forward to."
Baptiste won't be involved in Saturday's friendly at AFC Telford United but will be with the squad that travels to Portugal on Monday.
