Striker Rudy Gestede believes that Rovers can go to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night free of pressure.
Gestede played a staring role in the 3rd round clash at Ewood Park, it was his second half header that was spilled by Costel Pantilimon to allow Scott Dann to equalise to earn Rovers an FA Cup replay.
Now ahead of the rematch, the Benin international feels that all the expectation will be on Manchester City.
"There is no pressure on us, there is no fear," said the striker. "We are going to go over there and do our best.
"Maybe now they'll treat us like a better team and play their better players and maybe a higher tempo."
Whilst Gestede knows the importance of the cup, he also understands that Saturday's league match against Nottingham Forest is huge.
"I don't think the cup is the main thing for us, the main thing is the league," added Gestede.
"We will treat it like a proper game, we are playing one of the best teams in the world, but we need to save energy for next Saturday."
