Rovers have been handed a boost with the news that Lee Williamson’s injury is not as bad as first feared.
The 31-year-old received lengthy treatment during last night’s draw at Barnsley after sustaining a blow to the head, but Rovers boss Gary Bowyer will give him every opportunity to be passed fit for Blackpool.
“He suffered concussion and was still groggy today,” said the manager.
“He has also got a nasty shiner, as has Rudy, but he will be assessed by the medical team as the week goes on.
“If he doesn’t make it for Saturday, we’ve got enough players who can play in there.
“Tom Cairney can play there, Chris Taylor has played in there and Bryan Dabo might find himself thrust straight into it, so we'll manage."
Tickets for Saturday's match against Blackpool are currently on open sale. Tickets are priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Why not book online today and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
