Rovers starlet Keira Walsh has received her maiden call-up to England Women’s Under-19s after impressing at the Euro Under-17 finals.
The talented teenager has been included in a 22-player squad for a training camp and international fixture later this month.
Mo Marley’s side will join up at St George’s Park on Wednesday January 29th, before taking on their Norwegian counterparts two days later.
Keira started every game bar one for the Young Lions at the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship in November/December, as tournament hosts England reached the semi-final stage, before losing the third-place play-off to Italy on penalties.
The 16-year-old, who has been a regular for England at Under-15 and Under-17 level in recent years, has also helped Rovers’ Centre of Excellence reach the quarter-finals of this season’s FA Girls’ Youth Cup.
