Boss Gary Bowyer was full of praise for Paul Robinson after his last-gasp save ensured a crucial victory over Doncaster Rovers at Ewood Park.
Making his first league start for over 13 months, the Rovers' number one had a quiet return to league action as the home side lead thanks to Rudy Gestede's first half header, but he was alert to make a crucial save to deny Donny substitute Alex Peterson in the final moments.
A corner from the left in the 94th minute saw Petersen get in front of his marker to arrow a header goalwards, but the former England man pulled off a sensational save to clinch another three-point haul for the Lancashire side.
Speaking to Radio Rovers, the manager said: "I think Robbo's experience helped us massively last week and he's stayed in the team.
"He's has made an outstanding save and his experience at the end is invaluable to us.
"It is a massive part of his game.
"We have a young team but him, DJ and Dunny can be crucial to us."
