After a decent start to 2014, boss Gary Bowyer has challenged his squad to kick on and put a run of decent results together.
Rovers started the new year with a 2-1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road, before following that up with a worthy 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the FA Cup last time out.
This Saturday sees Doncaster Rovers visit Ewood Park for the first time in 44 years, and with the Lancashire club in 10th place and two points off the play-offs, Bowyer knows now is the time to move up the table with another home victory.
"We are probably one of 12 clubs that feel they are handily placed," said Bowyer. "I've said all along it is about picking up points, whether it is home or away.
"Coming into the Christmas period with two home games we only got one point out of six. I don't think many people would have given us much chance to go to Leeds and do what we did and we pick up all three.
"I've said it all season, it is a crazy league, it is about finding that consistency, it is about having a good run of games.
"But most important it is about picking up points against whoever and wherever."
Tickets for this Saturday's match will be on sale right up until the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors. Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk and collect from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
