Another tough test

28 January 2014

Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer isn't expecting an easy game against Barnsley this Tuesday night.

Rovers go into the match looking to do the double over the Yorkshire club following their impressive 5-2 win at Ewood Park back in August.

The Tykes may currently be at the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship, but Bowyer knows that Danny Wilson's side will be giving their all against Rovers this evening.

"We've said it before but there are no easy games, we have stressed that to the players," said the manager.

"Tuesday's game is going to be no different, they are fighting for their lives and when you've got that determination to try and stay in the league we know how powerful that can be.

"So it is up to us to go and match everything that Barnsley throw at us and then try and stamp our quality on it.

"They scored two good goals and they kept a clean sheet against Blackpool last time out so they will go into the game full of confidence."

Tickets for Barnsley will go off sale at Ewood at 4pm today, after that they'll be on sale this evening at Oakwell.

Prices are £23.00 Adults, £16.00 for Seniors (aged 65+), Under 18s and Students. £5 for Under 12s.

Fans should note that neither student priced tickets nor Under 12s tickets are available on the day of the game.  Under 12s tickets MUST be purchased with an adult/senior citizen ticket.

Students MUST be aged 18 to 20 years and produce a valid student card with photo ID and proof of D.O.B on entry at the turnstiles.
