All out for three points

23 January 2014

Chris Taylor has backed Rovers to bounce back from last weekend's disappointment and return to winning ways against Derby County this Saturday.

Rovers tripped up against Nottingham Forest last time out, but with a home match against the Rams coming up, the midfielder knows it is the ideal opportunity for three points to close the gap to the top six.

Taylor said: "We keep getting close to breaking into the play-off places and that was a bit of a step backwards, but if we can produce the kind of form we have been in prior to the Forest game then hopefully that will put us right back in the mix.

"We started the year very well up until now and the results are starting to settle down a bit.

"We are also getting to know each others game more now because it’s easy to forget there are a lot of new players in this team this season.

"It has set up the match with Derby nicely – I think we need to go all out for the three points. It will be tough, but we want to keep up with the pack so it’s definitely a game we want to win."

Tickets for Saturday's match are on open sale and will be available up to the 3.00pm kick-off.

Prices are from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Students. Book online today at and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
