Gary Bowyer has a near fully-fit squad for Saturday's FA Cup with Budweiser third round clash with Manchester City.
Despite the busy festive period, the manager has most players available for the Ewood Park clash against the Premier League heavyweights.
The manager reports a positive mood in the camp as the squad returned to training on Friday morning, with all hoping to be involved in the big cup match.
"We'll see who is carrying one or two knocks and then we'll make a decision on that," said Bowyer.
"You've got to be a little bit sensible if one or two are carrying niggles, but everybody wants to be part of it because it is a special game. It has been the best cure to some injuries that is for sure.
"Everybody wants to be available for it and we are really looking forward to it.
"The players had the day off yesterday because it has been a busy period, but when they all came in today, they came in with a skip to their step and they've all enjoyed training. We've prepared properly but we know it isn't a normal game."
Todd Kane misses out with a thigh strain, he is expected to be out for a couple of weeks, whilst Corry Evans isn't quite ready to resume full training.
David Dunn trained with the squad this morning and could come into contention, as does Jason Lowe who has served his one-match suspension.
