Keep focussed and positive

1 February 2014

As Rovers prepare to take on Blackpool at Ewood Park this Saturday afternoon, Gary Bowyer believes that Rovers are making steady progress.

Ahead of today's Lancashire derby Rovers sit five points off the play-off positions but the manager knows that there is still plenty to play for.

"I think it is fair to say that there has been a lot of progress made," said Bowyer.

"It has taken a lot of hard work but we are delighted with the way we are coming along. Stability has always been the key word that has been mentioned.

"We've been doing okay with it, we've been chipping away gradually, but we are at that stage now where there are still 18 games to go. You could be still be off it with eight games to go like Bolton last season, in the end they narrowly missed out after going on a run.

"So we are going to stay focussed and positive all way through because with this Championship you never know what can happen until the last couple of weeks."

Tickets for today's match against Blackpool are currently on open sale. Tickets are priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Why not book online today and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
