Gary Bowyer believes form goes out of the window when local derbies come around.
Rovers have two such clashes in quick succession, Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium this weekend, before they face Burnley at Ewood on Sunday March 9th.
"The Bolton game is a massive one, but it is no different to last week," said Bowyer.
"Last week's game was massive for different reasons and I think from now until the end of the season they will all be massive games.
"For this one in particular we've got a fantastic away following going and it is a local derby.
"It is up to us to put a performance on to give the fans something to cheer."
Rovers go into the game off the back of five unbeaten, whilst Wanderers picked up a useful three points with a home win over Watford, but Bowyer doesn't believe recent results will have a bearing on proceedings at the Reebok.
"It is always going to be tough regardless of their last result," added the Rovers boss.
"We've got to be focusing on ourselves and how we go about it. It is always a tough place to go no matter what, and I think sometimes in these games form goes out of the window.
"It is a different atmosphere and a different type of game.
"We know they'll be looking to try and seek revenge so it is up to us to try and be ready for it."
Tickets for Saturday's game go off sale at Ewood at 5.30pm this Friday, after that they'll be available from the Reebok, cash only from turnstiles G at the South Stand upper tier.
Prices are £33 for Adults, £23 Seniors/Under-23s and £12 for Under-18s.
