After a rare weekend off, Rudy Gestede is fit and raring to go in anticipation of a hectic schedule from now until the end of the season.
Rovers haven't played since their goalless draw against Middlesbrough a fortnight ago, the time having allowed several players, Gestede included, to recover from knocks.
"We didn't play last weekend because we weren't in the FA Cup so it was a good time to have some rest because we have 14 games in March and April," said the striker.
"It was good to have some time off and think about something else because now we are going to be focused on the Championship until the end of the season."
After the mini-break, Rovers return to action this weekend with a trip to face top-six side Reading.
And Gestede knows that if Rovers are to continue with their push for a play-off place then three points at the Madejski Stadium are a must
"We are not far from the play-off place and we still believe we can do it, I have got a good confidence for this.
"It is very important, we play Reading away and if we are to catch them up then we need to win.
"We travel there to get the win. When we play football it is to win, not to get a draw or to lose, so we go there to get the points.
"It is going to be hard to win each game but we will do the best we can do. There are a lot of points to play for, we have a good team and a good side and we can do something good."
Tickets for the Reading match will go off sale at Ewood at 4pm on Friday. Supporters should note that whilst tickets are available at the Madejski on the day of the game, prices will rise. Full ticket information can be found here.
