With 16 games left to play this season, boss Gary Bowyer knows that there are plenty of points to play for.
After a free fortnight, Rovers are back in action later today when they take on fellow promotion-chasers Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
With other teams involved last weekend, Rovers now find themselves seven points from the sixth placed Royals, but with today's game and a match in hand, the opportunity is there to close the gap.
"It is all about us picking up more points from now until the end of the season," said Bowyer.
"There are 48 points to play for and we've got to try and get as many as we can and that is by focusing on the process of how to try and win games.
"We've just got to go game-by-game and see how far we can go.
"It is about striving to keep on improving. Like I've said, we have made massive inroads this season with the squad but it is going to take another couple of windows to get better even still."
Tickets for today's game will be on sale at the Madejski Stadium. Prices are £30 Adults, £22 for Seniors and 17-21yrs, £12 Juniors.
