Gary Bowyer knows Rovers have to start taking the game to the opposition from the off.

The last five league outings has seen Rovers concede the opening goal and the manager knows that this unwanted run has to stop.

Charlton Athletic are the visitors to Ewood Park this Saturday and the manager has stressed the importance of starting on the front foot and getting the first goal.

"It is something that we've spoke about quite a few times with the players and it was brought up again this week," admitted the Rovers boss.

"It does seem to be something that we've not been able to do in the last five games.

"So the main focus has got to be getting on that front foot and starting the game properly and putting the opposition under pressure because we are the home team.

"We are looking forward to the game because it has got to be all about us this week."

Tickets for the today's match with Charlton will be on sale from the Roverstore until the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors and Students, and from just £6 for Juniors aged 16 and under.
