Corry Evans has backed Rovers to go on another unbeaten run after tasting defeat for the first time in ten outings at the weekend.
So often the side to score late goals, Rovers were on the receiving end on this occasion as they lost 2-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Northern Ireland international knows the side have the character to bounce back and that is what they'll be looking to do against Brentford next Saturday.
"That's the highs and lows of football," Evans told Radio Rovers. "It is what you go through in a Championship season and we are on the end of a low one today.
"The game was quite end-to-end, we maybe didn't test their keeper enough with our chances, and they didn't have too many clear-cut chances themselves.
"It was probably heading towards a draw, it is just the manner of the goal - a deflection, it is hard to take.
"So it is disappointing, but now we've just got to regroup and start another run next Saturday at Brentford.
"We can take confidence from the run that we've been on, this season and last season. We know we are capable of doing it again so next Saturday we'll look to put that right."
