Gary Bowyer was disappointed to see a below par Rovers lose it late at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
For once it was Rovers who were on the end of a dramatic last-minute goal, Claude Dielna settling a tight Ewood affair with the last kick of the game.
Rovers huffed and puffed after Alex Baptiste had cancelled out Kieran Lee's early strike, but couldn't find a way past a resolute Owls defence.
With the home side pushing they were caught late on, defender Dielna claiming all three points for the visitors in the 93rd minute.
"We did it last week at Middlesbrough," Bowyer told Radio Rovers. "So it isn't nice.
"I didn't think it was a particularly good game from both teams, I think the goals probably matched the quality of the game if I'm being honest.
"Today it looked like there were too many not at it compared to the standards that they've set, so it is one that we have to take on the chin.
"I think it is an example of the Championship, anybody can beat anybody, and you have to turn up on the day. On this occasion we didn't, we didn't play particularly well.
"We were below par, we know that, we have to take it on the chin and learn from it."
Rovers are back in action next Saturday when they take on Brentford at Griffin Park.
