Resilient and determined

27 August 2014

Midfielder Corry Evans sees no reason why Rovers can't go on another long unbeaten run.

After their 14-match streak came to an end with the loss at Norwich City, Rovers returned to winning ways at the weekend with a 3-2 victory over AFC Bournemouth.

Next up for the blue and whites is a trip to Molineux to face newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the Northern Ireland international confident that the squad's determination and ability can get a result.

"We wanted the get back to winning ways and we've managed to do that," Evans told Radio Rovers.

"Hopefully now that can set us up and we can go on another run and try and win our next game against Wolves.

"I don't see why we can't go on another run, we've got the ability in the squad and the mental attributes to go with it.

"Everyone is in it together and determined to go on and try and get promotion. We've got that resilience about us to try and win games and just not lose as every point counts."

Supporters are reminded that tickets for the Wolves match at Molineux have to be purchased from Rovers in advanced as no tickets will be available on the day.

Prices are £27 Adults, £15 Seniors/u21s, £12 u17s and £10 u10s.
