Olsson: Confidence is high

28 August 2014

Markus Olsson believes he is playing some of the best football during his time at the football club.

The Rovers defender has started every league match this season and picked up the man-of-the-match award in the win over AFC Bournemouth on Saturday with a commanding display on the left.

Olsson finished the season in fine style, playing the last three games of the 2013-14 campaign, and in Tommy Spurr's absence he has maintained his impressive form this season.

"Right now I'm feeling good and I'm happy with the way we are playing as well," Olsson told Radio Rovers. "I'll just keep working hard, stay focussed and see what happens.

"As a player you want to get better so playing with the lads it feels like I can only get better every day. I just want to learn from them and take in what they have to give."

Whilst Olsson himself is playing with confidence, the Swede believes it is high amongst his team-mates as well.

"Confidence is good, even after the Norwich game confidence was still high," added the defender. "I think we are on the right track again, we are looking forward.

"Saturday will be a difficult team to go and play away, like it is with every team in this league, it isn't going to be an easy game so we've just got to be focussed and work hard."

Supporters are reminded that tickets for the Wolves match at Molineux have to be purchased from Rovers in advanced as no tickets will be available on the day.

Prices are £27 Adults, £15 Seniors/u21s, £12 u17s and £10 u10s.
