Killa in contention

28 August 2014

Rovers hope to welcome back Matt Kilgallon to the squad for Saturday's trip to Molineux.

The defender has missed the last three league games after sustaining a back injury in the opening game of the season against Cardiff City, but he could return for the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rovers will still be without Chris Brown (knee) and Tommy Spurr (groin), with the manager hoping for better news after the international break.

"Matt Kilgallon has trained today so he is back in the fold," revealed boss Gary Bowyer on Thursday. "We'll see how he is tomorrow.

"Chris Brown is very close to a return so we'd certainly expect to see him featuring after the international break."

Supporters are reminded that there are no sales on the day at Molineux on Saturday so advance purchase is necessary. Tickets go off sale at the town centre store 5.30pm Thursday and at Ewood at 4pm Friday.

Prices for the Wolves match are £27 Adults, £15 Seniors/u21s, £12 u17s and £10 u10s.
