Rovers will give a late check on Matt Kilgallon ahead of Saturday's seaside encounter with Blackpool.
The central defender limped out of the opening day draw with Cardiff City at half-time after sustaining a back injury, but if he comes through Friday training unscathed, he could return for the Lancashire clash.
But whilst Kilgallon could return, Gary Bowyer's side will still be without Chris Brown (knee) and Tommy Spurr (goin).
"We are still missing one or two," said the Rovers boss on Thursday.
"Chris Brown, Tommy Spurr are still missing. Matt Kilgallon, we'll see how he is tomorrow. He hasn't trained with us yet so we'll see how it goes.
"With Browny I feel sorry for him because he's desperate to make an impression. He's a new signing and he hasn't been able to get going yet.
"He's working ever so hard in the gym and he's not too far away now. He's making progress, as is Tommy."
