Gary Bowyer has a defensive dilemma ahead of tomorrow night's Capital One Cup 1st round tie with Scunthorpe United.
Rovers will be without Tommy Spurr (groin) and Matt Kilgallon (back) for the Ewood encounter, leaving the manager plenty to ponder.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday's game, the Rovers boss said:
"Obviously we had the disappointment of losing Killa on Friday night. He's not recovered in time for tomorrow, whilst I think Tommy is going to be out for a couple of weeks.
"We aren't blessed with massive numbers so our selection has got to be careful but at the same time we want to get through to the next round.
"In terms of senior defenders I think that only leaves us with four and then you've got the youngsters like Jack O'Connell and Yann Songo'o who went out and got loan experience last season.
"We have to be careful with making drastic changes but at the same time we have to keep a mindful eye on Blackpool a little bit, especially in the defensive area."
Tickets for the match will be on sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off. Prices are from £12 Adults, £8 Seniors and young adults. Whilst under 17s can see the match for just £1!
