Double century for Robbo

29 August 2014

Paul Robinson will make a landmark appearance this weekend in the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Rovers number one will clock up his 200th start for the club and is proud to do so.

"Somebody told me about that this week, I wasn't aware of it, so it is nice of it to come around," said Robinson.

"Obviously it could have come a bit earlier with everything that has happened, but it has come, it is a great achievement, and something that I am really proud of.

"I think this is my seventh season, yet it doesn't feel too long. I've enjoyed every minute of it.

"We've had some really good times, we've had some really bad times and we've had some very in-between times. I think you get that at any football club these days.

"But it is a place where I really enjoy playing my football, I enjoy living up here and I've really felt at home here.

"We are really pushing this year, I'd love to top it all off with promotion."

Supporters are reminded that there are no sales on the day at Wolves on Saturday so advance purchase is necessary. Tickets go off sale at Ewood at 4pm Friday.

Prices for the Wolves match are £27 Adults, £15 Seniors/u21s, £12 u17s and £10 u10s.
