Bounce back with three points

15 August 2014

After the disappointment of the midweek exit in the first round of the Capital One Cup, Craig Conway is determined to put things right against Blackpool this weekend.

The Scottish international was a second half substitute as Rovers were defeated 1-0 at home to Scunthorpe United and knows that Saturday's match gives them the perfect opportunity to get the midweek loss firmly out of their system.

"We've now got a big game this Saturday against Blackpool and hopefully we can put things right," Conway told Radio Rovers.

"We started the league playing really well against Cardiff so we want to go on and put on another show and hopefully get three points against Blackpool.

"I'm sure Blackpool will be saying the same in front of their home fans but we are confident enough that we can go and get a win there.

"It will be a tough game but I'm sure the fans will get behind us for that."
