Craig Conway knows that Rovers have to start picking up wins if they are to rise up the table in the end of season run-in.
Rovers are unbeaten in their last four outings, but three of those have been draws, and whilst picking up points in every game is always a good habit to have, at this stage of the season Conway knows wins are all that matter.
"To go to London and get two draws was good but I think at this time of the season you want to start picking up wins, especially in the situation that we are in," said Conway.
"We want to try and push and try and get wins under our belts and hopefully that will come. It is still two points gained I suppose, but just the way that it happened we probably should have got three points from both games."
Brighton are Rovers' opponents this evening at Ewood Park and the Scottish international knows that they'll provide a tough test, but he's sure they are one that can be overcome.
"Every game in the Championship is as tough as each other but we are at home which should be a bit of an advantage and hopefully we can make that," added the midfielder.
"We've three games at home now and hopefully we can take as many points as we can.
"Brighton will be a tough team, they are a good footballing side and hopefully it will be a lot better football game than Saturday's game against Millwall.
"They've had three defeats so they'll be hurting and will want to put that right, so hopefully we can stop them doing that.
"Every team up there is wanting to pick up points and we are one of those teams along with Brighton looking for the three points."
Tickets for this evening's match against Brighton will be on sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
