The football family will come together this Saturday afternoon to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
Rovers boss Gary Bowyer was there on that fateful day, a 17-year-old supporting Nottingham Forest with friends in the opposite stand.
It will be an emotional occasion for all concerned before Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday go head-to-head but Bowyer knows that the supporters will respect the occasion.
Bowyer said: "It is really important that our fans and our club show the support and the respect to the families of Liverpool Football Club that sadly lost people at a football match.
"When you put it like that it really does hit you, those people left their homes to go and watch a football match and never returned and that is the sadness of the disaster.
"We have to go and show our support and our love for those families."
