Rovers' Under-17s made it back-to-back wins in the Spartak Cup with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Dinamo Minsk.
Following their 1-0 triumph over AS Monaco on Tuesday, they made it a second successive win in the Moscow competition.
Four changes were made from the side that defeated the French with Callum Williams, Lewis Mansell, Adrian Edo and Josh Askew coming into the starting eleven and it was one of those new boys who scored the only goal of the game after just nine minutes.
Jack Doyle played a short corner to Adrian Edo and he bent the ball over everyone and into the far corner of the net.
In blustery conditions the match became increasingly bad tempered as the game wore on, but Rovers held their nerve to claim a second victory.
The win sees Rovers top the table with their 100% record after two games, the lads are back in action tomorrow afternoon when they take on Krasnodar who have drawn both their games played so far.
ROVERS: Williams, Nyambe, Wharton (sub Edgar 28 mins), Platt, Hardcastle (sub Tanner 47 mins), Mansell, Doyle (c), Howarth, Callaway, Edo (sub Tomlinson 60 mins), Askew.
