Our task is clear

4 April 2014

Gary Bowyer knows Rovers have to come away with all three points when they face Ipswich Town on Saturday.

After four consecutive draws in the league, the Rovers boss has stressed that it is imperative that they get back to winning ways at Ewood Park.

Whilst Rovers are five unbeaten, the four draws has seen the side move seven points from the top six, but against fellow play-off chasing Ipswich, it is an opportunity to close the gap.

"We've got seven opportunities, we've just got to try and focus on everything that we can do and everything that we can control and see where that takes us," said the manager.

"We've got to prove that we can get back to winning ways and obviously the confidence which comes from that as well.

"We are five games unbeaten now, of course we would have liked to have won more of the games in that run, but that breeds confidence as well, we've just got to make sure that we can cross the line.

"Our task is simple, we have seven games left and we have to try and win as many games as possible. The way that we go about that is by focusing on the performances.

"If we can win on Saturday then it sets us up very nicely for Tuesday."

Tickets for Saturday's game are currently on open sale priced from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk.
