Boss Gary Bowyer believes his Rovers side will put the lessons of last week's draw with Sheffield Wednesday behind them when they face Yeovil Town tomorrow.
Rovers could have closed the gap to the top-six to just two points had they come away from Hillsborough with all three points, but ultimately they had to settle for just one in the dramatic 3-3 draw.
Now as Rovers prepare to take on Yeovil at Ewood, Bowyer wants those frustrations taken out on the opposition.
"You reflect and you debrief it and we are still angry and frustrated that we allowed that to slip," said the Rovers boss.
"It is all part of learning and the development for some of them, we are still a young team but I think this time last year when we left Sheffield Wednesday we were in the bottom three."
Despite the draw, Rovers are still high on confidence and go into the Good Friday clash with the Glovers in excellent form.
"This time we've stretched our unbeaten run to eight games," added Bowyer. "It is a long, long time since we had last done that. I know we've drawn five of them but it does breed confidence.
"So we are making the right progress, it is just disappointing that we haven't made a bit more progress from the weekend.
"I think the main challenge that we've set to the players for a long time now is to focus on the performance and maintain that.
"Generally I do believe that if they do maintain those level of performances then they'll get the rewards. So that is the challenge from now until the end of the season, to maintain the performances - and more."
